Medium ruby in colour. The nose is medium intensity with red fruits, spice and some of the classic dusty, earthy Coonawarra terroir showing through. The palate is medium-bodied, medium intensity and with lots of spice, red fruits, charcuterie and pepper. Length is good but tannins are slightly astringent on the finish. A nice wine to showcase the Coonawarra terroir and to cut through some protein. RATING: 87 pts.
