Medium+ ruby colour with the classic intense Chilean Cab Sauv grassy/cassis nose. Touch of spice & cherry jam adds some interest on the medium-plus intensity nose. Palate is dry, medium-bodied & medium-plus in tannin & acid with again more cassis, some dried herbs, cut grass and just a bit of astringency that detracts from the length. Good value solid Cabernet Sauvignon though at $14. RATING: 87 pts
