Anyone who has visited Blue Mountain recently will be impressed by the new very high density plantings. This Sauvignon Blanc is one of the first releases from these plantings. A pale lemon colour, the nose is medium intensity tending more to the riper, tropical components of Sauvignon Blanc. Aromas include melon, lemon sherbet, raw currant, pineapple and apple. The palate is dry with racy acidity, a medium body and good intensity of lemon, mineral, raw currant, green apple, pear and subtle tropical notes of pineapple and melon with a long finish.
